Very quiet location, because there´s no traffic passing by. Just a few minutes to walk to the new fair (Neue Messe) München and next subway/underground station (Fair city east).

Since march 2004, one of the most modern malls of Munich opened: The Riem Arcaden. This 3-floor shopping mall has about 120 shops and you will have a shopping adventure without stress. For more information: www.riemarcaden.de.
On the first floor of the Riem Arcaden you will find lots of food. There is a store where you can buy fresh fish, mediterranean specialities, cheese specialities, wine, fruits and vegetables. There is also a juice bar and a bakery. Outside the mall there is a Asian Specialist, a italian coffee bar, a bavarian pub with "Biergarten" (place to sit outside and drink beer), an Italian restaurant and Sushi restaurant.
For shopping in the Riem Arcaden you only need to walk a few minutes. And because Munich has the most sunshine days in Germany there are lots of restaurants and coffee shops with outside sun terraces.
Because it is close to the fair it is perfect to reach the Autobahn (just 2 km). About 5 minutes to the subway/underground station. Main entrance of the fair (Neue Messe München): Just 5 minutes to walk.
Our apartment is right next to the National Garden Festival Munich 2005 can be reached in less then 5 minutes by foot. This event takes place from 28.04.05 until 09.10.05.
Direction Tegernsee, Alpes, Chiemsee, Inntal, Tirol, you have passed the city already. To the Biergarten or to shop in downtown Munich: the easiest way to come there is by public transportation. The subway/underground is only 5 minutes away. In munich you can get cheap tickets for one day, three days and both also as familyticket (with up to 5 persons). Of course, you can reach the museums, the animal garden, the theatre ect. by public transportation.
There is a lot of green in the environment around our apartement and the living quality is exceptionally high. |
